We are a local family run property maintenance and repair business based in the beautiful town of Rye in East Sussex. We are proud that the majority of our work comes from existing customers and personal recommendation.
With a wealth of expertise, experience and professional qualification, the Handyman team can provide a comprehensive service, from repairing a dripping tap to a fully designed & built timber deck and so much more.
We appreciate that your property is probably your largest and most important investment, therefore, we pride ourselves in offering friendly professional workmanship, at competitive prices, with minimum fuss.
Being a Part P qualified and registered electrician, I am able to carry out electrical repairs, maintenance and alterations, and when required issue the appropriate installation certificates. We also operate an emergency call out service should you lose power in your home or work place unexpectedly.

Our new house in Pett
We moved to Pett in October 2014, and although our house had been fully renovated there were a number of jobs that needed doing. These included assembling shelves and wardrobes and some plumbing and electrical work, which was undertaken for us by Mark and his team, Logan and Tom. We were so impressed with their work that we asked them to build a base for, and some steps leading to, a soon-to-be delivered greenhouse. This was a very challenging job as our garden is steep and terraced. But Mark and his team did a wonderful job and we are delighted with the result. They also installed some electricity points and lighting for the greenhouse once it was erected. Mark researched and sourced the lights for us, which are the icing on the cake.

I first met Mark about a dozen years ago and he has carried out all sorts of work on my property from large jobs like painting the whole of the outside to small jobs like getting the shower to work and clearing the gullies. I will never forget the day when a water pipe burst in my bedroom and water rushed down the walls with terrifying force. He calmly and efficiently fixed the whole problem. I have called on Mark and his team several times in the last year for a small job like fitting a cat flap to a larger job such as laying wooden flooring, virtually throughout my entire home. I have always felt comfortable with them working in my home, they are always polite and courteous and very professional. My dogs love them being here and insist on hanging around them and they are very patient and friendly with the dogs. Mark's charges are very reasonable, he always does an excellent job.
