There is lots to do in Hastings, with attractions and events for all the family.

Its main attraction is the medieval Old Town with its narrow passageways, antique shops, boutiques and cafe's. The town also boasts a hill-top castle, two funicular railways, the Georgian church of St Mary's in the castle, 18th century net shops, and access to Hastings Country Park - a 660 acre area of woodland glens, beaches and cliff top views.

Hastings is also home to internationally-based cultural and sporting events, including the Hastings International Chess Congress, Hastings Half Marathon, the Jack in the Green Festival, Hastings Beer Festival, Coastal Currents and the Old Town Carnival.

If you are visiting for the day you can visit Underwater World, Hastings Castle or the Hastings Museum and Art Gallery.
