Each room has its own spa bath, specially modelled to resemble the style of the deep Japanese baths commonly found in Japanese bathrooms (Ofuro). Three of the rooms also have a separate walk-in shower. Each room is unique, with its own individual charm.

UNIQUE GOLFING OPPORTUNITY: The world famous Beauport Park Golfcourse in St Leonard on Sea and the very challenging Sedlescombe Golf club which has the hardest 18 holes Golf course in Europe are located less than 10 minutes from the guest house.

By Train: The guest house is just 5 minutes' walk from Hastings Railway Station. There are regular trains between Hastings and London Charing Cross, London Bridge and Cannon Street, with the journey taking about an hour and a half. It takes an hour from London Victoria Railway Station. By Eurostar: The guest house is 50 minutes by train and one hour by car from Ashford International Railway Station. Ashford offers easy connections to Paris, Lille, and Brussels. By Air: The guest house is approximately 40 miles (65 km) from London Gatwick Airport. Trains run regularly from the airport to Hastings, with a journey time of about an hour. Parking: There is free on-street parking in the roads around the guest house from 16:00 to 11:00, Monday to Saturday, Sunday and public holidays. Permits for daytime parking are available for guests who would like to stay more than one night.

This unique French-Japanese guest house is family-run, cosy and homely, around 10 minutes' walk from the town centre and 15 minutes from Hastings Beach. The fun and relaxed Le Chateau Japonais offers indulgent, deep spa baths in each en suite room. There is an outdoor, heated Japanese-style spa pool (Rotenburo), made of natural river rocks. At night you can float and relax in the warm water, with a view of the stars. A Parisian breakfast is served on weekdays and a continental/Japanese buffet style breakfast on weekends. Please note that arrivals outside the normal reception opening times are subject to a surcharge. Breakfast is available only at weekends and is included in the rate. The spa's opening time is from 09:00 to 23:00. Please book dinner 24 hours in advance.
